saturday - opening day x2

went to central for pa+ma's friend's opening.
pro-ness.  a bit awkward at the uncle's place, but it was a nice clinic.  not that i'll be able to afford it nor do i want to be visiting (ie the need to visit?!)

friday - the productive unproductive day.

had dimsum @ mk, 稻香.  had to go around the block twice to find it.
s j ek - good meal.
j left early back to clinic, then we followed and i had a look around.  interesting to see diff clinics.

roamed around to look for converse for s coz she's looking after my car.  but no luck!
quite nice, i should consider getting a pair for myself ^^

a bit more of roaming with a HUGE bbt... (bubble tea not big bang theory).  i ended up walking to soares ave.  went and saw a new branch of the clinic and went in to say hello to dr i and dr t.  dr t always so nice... so had a chat, and after loitering, he got me to scrub into a tibial fracture sx.  awesomeness.  didn't take pic, always feel a bit iffy taking pix in clinics, feels a lil disrespectful to the fluffies, like how it would be unprofessional to take pix if i was in a human hospital?
productiveness anyway.

got call from bro.

he was on his way to tst, before his make up appointment i wanted to catch up with him since it was too early, traffic from mk to tst was mad.

got there after what seemed like forever...  and there wasn't much time left but i'm glad i got there.  he got good news and it was worth the celebration with a couple of drinks!

such a nice setting, too bad it was a lil rushed.  there was great cause for celebration.  am PROUD of my lil bro!!! :D

thurs - skm, mk, kln bay.

skm - glasses.  replaced rim for $338.  man hk is awesome.

mk - phone screen protector.  ticked.

kln bay - telford.  dinner with f+j @ 和民.  (maybe one day i will swear how i am writing so anonymously coz i can't remember who f+j are. ... ... hm ... naah. unlikely for me to forget.)  then bowling at e-max.  a joined us later on.

i feel that taking photos at a church seems disrespectful... not too sure why, but i just needed a pic for my own record...

lately, i guess the past month or so, i've been quite into the songs sung in church, i even downloaded quite a few of the ones i know from this church and back from hk... i've always sung at church, not always with the music ministry but it's just a reflex action, but i think it became like a comfort thing. i like doing it, it feels good. for whatever reason. i think this break to hk i am going to miss going to bateman...

i finally used the 30-dollar sewing machine from the reject shop that i bought last year. 

who'd thought it takes me like an hour plus to hem 2 pairs of overalls... it's been years since i used a sewing machine!  was good to be productive un-academically.

:) the first post~

xanga was my first blog, dates back when i first left hong kong. since then there's been many posts, but i have stopped public/semi-public blogging since some time in the past three years. i think facebook took over the need for blogging. i did have my own private blog on blogspot for a while now since i stopped using xanga, but that's just to quieten the crazy voices in my head, so i have decided to keep another blog for different bits and pieces...

karen, when you look back in the future, you may actually find it interesting.
